For proper treatment, it is necessary that I, as the treating therapist at Acupuntura-Benissa, keep a complete record. Your file contains personal data for identification and billing purposes as well as notes on your health condition and data on the examinations and treatments performed.
This privacy policy is intended to inform you of the rights and our obligations, which apply under the AVG/ RGPD.
There may be information in your file that is necessary for your treatment, and which, after your explicit consent, is requested from another health care provider, such as your primary care physician or specialist.
The information in your record may also be used to inform other health care providers, such as when a therapy is completed or when a referral is made to another practitioner. Or for use in observation during our absence. Again, this is done only with your explicit consent.
Further, there may be anonymized use intended for peer consultation. Also, if I want to use your data for any other reason than the above mentioned, I will inform you and explicitly ask for your consent.
I do my best to ensure your privacy. This means that I handle your personal and medical information with care; and ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your information. As a treated therapist, I alone have access to the information in your file. In addition, as a treated therapist, I have a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).
Privacy on healthcare bill
The healthcare bill you receive will include the following information;
Your name, address and place of residence
Your date of birth and the date of treatment
